50 Euro Cent (24,3 mm / 7,75 g), "Nordic gold" alloy (89% copper, 5% aluminium, 5% zinc, and 1% tin), 7,80 g theor. mint weight, mintage 73.610.000 (135.000 in sets, 75.000 proof), axis medal alignment ↑↑ (0°) , dented edge,
Obv.: 2004 / F , the Brandenburg Gate, surrounded with the twelve stars of Europe, below year and mintmark "F" for Stuttgart.
Rev.: 50 EURO / CENT / LL , a map of Europe (1st map type with borders) on the left, six fine lines cut through the sea, breaking when passing through the map, and at their ends at the top and bottom are twelve stars (reflective of the flag of Europe). To the right, in raised lettering, is "50 Euro Cent" with the '50' being shown much larger than the words, designer´s initials, LL (Luc Luycx), to r. 
KM 212 ; Jaeger 487 ; Schön 211 . 

German coins of the later Federal Republic are produced at five different mints, coins from each of them can be identified by their mintmarks, A = Berlin, D = Munich, F = Stuttgart, G = Karlsruhe, J = Hamburg.
