Lindau (German: Lindau (Bodensee), formerly Lindau im Bodensee) is a major town and island on the eastern side of Lake Constance (Bodensee in German) in Bavaria, Germany. It is the capital of the county (Landkreis) of Lindau, Bavaria and is near the borders of the Austrian state of (Vorarlberg) and the Swiss cantons of (St. Gallen and Thurgau). The coat of arms of Lindau town is a linden tree, referring to the supposed origin of the town's name (Linde means linden tree in German). The historic town of Lindau is located on the 0.68-square-kilometre (0.26 sq mi) island of the same name which is connected with the mainland by a road bridge and a railway dam leading to Lindau station. 

Chelles is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located in the Seine-et-Marne department in the ÃŽle-de-France region 18 km (11 mi) from the center of Paris. 

Chelles ist eine Stadt mit 54.196 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Januar 2016) im Département Seine-et-Marne in der Region Île-de-France im Osten des Großraums Paris. Sie liegt an der Marne. Die Entfernung zur Stadtmitte von Paris beträgt etwa 18 km. Durch das Stadtgebiet verläuft auf einer Länge von knapp drei Kilometer auch der Canal de Chelles. Chelles ist die größte Stadt des Départements. Chelles ist seit 1964 die Partnerstadt von Lindau (Bodensee).
