Rev.: IMPERATOR VIIII / S C , Adlocutio scene: Trajan seated right on sella castrensis set on high platform, accompanied by two adjutants; before, a lictor with fasces standing right and six soldiers standing left (3 visible in full length, [3 behind them, heads only]), forepart of a horse visible between them; [in the background aquila and two standards]; legend in exergue.

Trajan was proclaimed imperator for the eighth time after the fall of the city of Singara in 115 AD during the campaign on the eastern frontier.
