Curtis Clay:
"Struck c. spring-summer 196 to commemorate Septimius' victory over Albinus on 19 Feb. of that year, not 197 as everyone wrongly says. The two other types of the same issue were ADVENTVI AVG FELICISSIMO and FORTVNAE REDVCI: after eliminating Albinus Septimius returned to Rome.
Cat. 1489 in the die catalogue of my unpublished thesis. Another from the same dies: BMC 591, not ill. in that catalogue."
