245 AD., Philip I, Rome mint, Antoninianus, RIC 26b.
Philip I, Rome mint, 2nd officina. 4th emission, 245 AD.,
Antoninianus (21-23 mm / 4.52 g),
Obv.: IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG , radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip I right, seen from behind.
Rev.: ADVENTVS AVGG , Philip on horseback left, raising hand and holding spear.

While many antoninianii from this period show high quality portraits, the reverses are usually struck on very worn dies - proof that the reverses suffered in the efforts to produce a huge amount of currency.
