Nemausus (Nimes) in Gallia, Augustus, struck ca. 16-10 BC., countermarked 11-7 BC., 
Æ As (halved Dupondius), 2/3 fragment (15-25 mm / 8,25 g), 
Obv.: IMP / DIVI F , heads of Agrippa (left, [with rostral crown]) and Augustus (right, [bare-headed]), back to back; countermark: wheel of 4 spokes (circular, Werz 25.3).  - têtes adossées d'Agrippa coiffé de la couronne rostrale à gauche et d'Auguste nu à droite. 
Rev.: [COL - NEM , crocodile chained to palm tree, above palm, a wreath with long ties, two palm branches below.  - crocodile enchaîné à un palmier qui est surmonté d'une couronne ; sous le crocodile, deux palmettes].

Halved after countermarkong, chisel-groovings on both sides from splitting attempts to create the lower denomination. The value of this series was in fact indicated by the presence of the number of heads on the obverse. One head on a halved coin meaning the value of an as.

The weight-peaks for regular dupondii of this issue are 14 - 11 g (RIC), 12,50 g (RPC I).
