Ilici in Hispania, 12 BC. - 14 AD., Augustus, issued by duoviri Q. Terentius Montanus and Q. Papirius Car., Semis, RPC 192.
Ilici in Hispania Tarraconensis (today Elche, Alicante), Augustus, issued by duoviri Q. Terentius Montanus and Q. Papirius Car., struck 12 BC. - 14 AD.,
Semis (ø 19-20 mm / 4,26 g), bronze, axis coin alignment ↑↓ (ca. 180°),
Obv.: [AV]GVSTVS - DIVI F , his laureate head r. - Cabeza del emperador laur. a der.
Rev.: [Q PAPIR CAR Q T]ERE MO{NT} II VI[R Q] / IVNONI / C – I - IL - A , tetrastyle temple of Juno - templo tetrástilo, en el arquitrave IVNONI, entre las columnas C I IL A (Colonia Iulia Ilici Augusta).
RPC I, 192 (122 pieces listed) ; I. 1519 ; V. 133.4 ; AB. 1519 ; SNG Cop. 507 .

The testrastyle temple represented in the semises of Ilici has a podium, Corinthian capitals, a pediment with a central globule and topped by a piriform sill, the main feature of which is the inscription of the IVNONI in the architrave, but this Juno should not be that of the Roman pantheon, but the Punic goddess Tanit.
The identification of the presumed finding of the temple of Juno, made known by Rafael Ramos (1975: 164-165) in the denominated sector 5D of the excavations, has been discarded today. Gabriel Lara (2010: 104-106) indicates that the identity of the building of sector 5D does not correspond to the image of the temple of Juno and not even to that of a Roman temple similar to those built during the time of Augustus, but must of being a house, since remains of domestic fires (kitchen) have appeared.
AM Poveda (2000: 85-92) proposed that the Christian basilica of sector 10A could be built on a Roman temple of the Augustan period (the temple of Juno?), Which in turn would replace a previous Iberian temple, but G. Lara, in the aforementioned article of 2010 concludes: "The finding of the temple of Juno should be one of the many discoveries that the continuity of the archaeological tasks in the field will provide in the coming years, it only remains to wait patiently."
