fouree Denarius (17-19 mm / 2,67 g), silver-plated bronze core, usually 3,8-4,0 g. for pure silver specimens, axes about coin alignment ↑↓ (ca. 200°),
Obv.: diademed, draped bust of Venus left, cupid on shoulder; lituus to left before, scepter r. over shoulder, three corrosion pits.
Rev.: [C]AESA[R] (in exergue), trophy with Gallic arms: oval shield in r. hand and oblong shield in l. hand, at base male captive with hands bound in back on l., head reverted, and female captive on r., in a gesture of mourning, one corrosion pit.
