The coin must have been struck by Agrippa, Tullus, or Otho in 7 BC; or Silanus, Quinctilianus, or Messalla in 6 BC, because only these two colleges of moneyers struck asses for Augustus after 12 BC when he assumed the title Pontifex Maximus.
