Æ3 (ø 18-19 mm / 1,94 g), bronze, axis about medal alignment ↑↑ (ca. 30°), 
Obv.: D N VALENTIN/ •  ANVS P F AVG , his pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, irregular legend details  -  son buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé à droite. 
Rev.: GLORIA RO - MANORVM / • B SISC , emperor, wearing military dress, advancing right, head left, his left hand holding a labarum with chi-rho-monogram on the banner, right dragging captive   -  l'empereur avançant à droite portant le labarum et traînant un captif à genoux par les cheveux, • B SISC à l'exergue.

The point in the obverse legend is actually the end of a needle in the emperor's headdress.
This detail appears at least since the reign of Constantius II.
