Æ3 (ø 17-18 mm / 1,96 g), bronze, axis about medal alignment ↑↑ (ca. 20°),
Obv.: D [N] GRATIA - [N]VS P F [AV]G , pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Gratian right - buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé à droite.
Rev.: SECVRITAS - REI PVBLICAE / D/P – F / A SISC E , Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm - Victoire allant à gauche tenant une couronne et une palme, D sur P / F dans le champ, A SISC E à l’exergue.
cf. RIC IX, p. 144 / 147 , no. 15(c) var. xliv (a) (obverse legend break unlisted, reverse marks only for Valens RIC 15 b ) ; no similar coin on www.nummus-bible-database.com .
