Afghanistan, anonymous civic issue, Ahmadshahi (Qandahar) mint, 1190 AH / 1776 AD.,

Until AH 1273 this mint was almost always given on the coins as Ahmadshahi, a name given it by Ahmad Shah in honor of himself in AH 1171. On later issues, after AH 1271, the traditional name Quandahar is generally used.
