These tokens were Loyalty Tokens based on a similar principle to Co-Operative Dividend Tokens and could presumably be used to purchase goods from the issuing store's. Williams Bros were ubiquitous. Around 1969 their Head Office was located in White Hart Lane, Tottenham. One was apparently at 146-158 Holloway Road, London England. Another at 328 Hackney Road, London E2 in 1921. The nearby Nags Head at 324 was already there in 1921 and still has the same name. They were one of the last shops to issue Tokens. http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php?topic=9321.0 http://www.hertsmemories.org.uk/page_id__83_path__0p4p23p.aspx https://www.flickr.com/photos/lesbailey/4525716060/
