Denarius (17-18 mm / 3,35 g), silver, axes about coin alignment ↑↓ (ca. 180°), 
Obv.: T CAES IMP VESP - PON TR POT , his laureate head facing right. 
Rev.: NEP - [R]ED , Neptune standing left, right foot set on globe marked by crossing latitudinal and longitudinal lines, nude except for cloak hanging down behind from shoulders, holding acrostolium on his right and leaning on scepter with his left.

The reverse type "Neptune the Returner" refers to the sea voyages of Vespasian and Titus from the East, where they had been suppressing the Jewish revolt, back to Rome in 70 and 71 AD respectively .
