Obv.: D N CONSTA - NS P F AVG , diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constans left, holding globe in right hand.
Rev.: FEL TEMP REPAR - ATIO / AQ P ● , helmeted soldier, advancing right, head left, spear in left hand; with right hand, leading small bare-headed barbarian from hut beneath tree. Spear points upwards, it´s butt between the soldier and the barbarian.

In AD. 342 - under Constans - the Franks were taken over the Rhine and settled in Toxandria (a region between the Meuse and the Scheldt rivers in the Netherlands and Belgium). This was a peaceful act done by negotiations and the Franks had to fight for the Romans.
