Æ Semis (18-19 mm / 4,57 g),
Obv.: AVG , bare head of Augustus right.
Rev.: two pontiffs driving yoke of oxen right, plowing pomerium.
RPC I 1656 ; Varbanov 3770 .
RPC: No real picture emerges as to the nature and mint(s) of this coinage. It is not clear if it was colonial or provincial and if it was struck in different mints; its area of diffusion was mainly Macedonia, Troas, Bithynia and Mysia were it probably passed for a semis.
