Nikomedia in Bithynia, Trajan, Koinon issue, 98-117 AD.,
Æ 23 (23-26 mm / 6.88 g), bronze, 
Obv.: AY NEP TPAIAN-ΩN KAI CЄ ΓEP ΔA  , laureate head of Trajan right.
Rev.: [CE?]BA - CTH , Athena Itonia advancing right, brandishing spear and holding circular shield. 
Mionnet Supp. IV, no. 111 var. (obv. legend) ; SNG Von Aulock 281 var. (Demeter reverse) . .

This very unusual obverse legend is known only for Bithynia.
(from top right) AYT NER TRAIANOC A KAI CE GER DA, laureate head right.
(from top right) CEBA-CTH, Athena Itonia advancing right, brandishing spear
and holding circular shield.
Mionnet Supp. IV, 111 is the same type, same rev. legend, same image but has
a slightly different obv. legend (or it was misread by Mionnet). Mionnet listed it under Sebaste, Paphlagonia;
SNG Von Aulock 281 with the Demeter reverse is, as stated below, listed  under "Koinon of Bithynia".

Another of these from what look like the same dies, is in the collection of John Aiello.
