Obv.: D N [CO]NSTA - NS P F AVG , pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constans left, holding globe in right hand.  - buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé à gauche, portant un globe. (RIC type Cn8 G3L) 
Rev.: [FEL T]EMP REPAR-ATIO / TR S • , helmeted soldier, advancing right, head left, spear in left hand; with right hand, leading small bare-headed barbarian from hut beneath tree. Spear points upwards, it´s butt between the soldier´s legs (RIC var. B).  - soldat debout à gauche, casqué et portant une lance, tirant un jeune barbare hors de sa hutte couverte par un arbre, TR S • à l'exergue.

In AD. 342 - under Constans - the Franks were taken over the Rhine and settled in Toxandria (a region between the Meuse and the Scheldt rivers in the Netherlands and Belgium). This was a peaceful act done by negotiations and the Franks had to fight for the Romans.
