Obv.: 光 / 绪 / 元 - 寶 , in the center four Chinese characters "Kuang Hsu Yuan Pao", reading from top to bottom and right to left (Kuang Hsu Valuable Coin) and a five-petalled central flower inside beaded circle in centre; in the outer circle, Chinese "Hu Peh Sheng Tsao" - "made in Hupeh Province" above, "Ten Cash" below; two Manchu characters on each side of the center in the outer circle, left: Manchu "Boo" - coin.
