%08.%12.%12 00000012 %05:%DezemberIt is often argued, that in cases like this, the cross on the crown has been forgotten, or, that there was not enough place for it. This might be true. But on the other hand there exist many examples, not only for nicomedian issues, of crowns with no cross on coins. Even on the famous Ravenna mosaic of Justinian can´t be found any cross topping the crown. And I can´t imagine this beeing the work of an oblivious craftsman.
