Obv.: 2009 / SLOVENSKO , the Bratislava Castle, with the national emblem in the bottom left of the picture (the double cross on three hills), below the image is the date and curving just above the circling stars is the name SLOVENSKO (Slovakia); designed by Ján Černaj and Pavol Károly; Kremnican mint mark, MK-logo in a circle to l. 
Rev.: 10 EURO / CENT / LL , a map of Europe on the left, six fine lines cut through the sea, breaking when passing through the map, and at their ends at the top and bottom are twelve stars (reflective of the flag of Europe). To the right, in raised lettering, is "10 Euro Cent" with the '10' being shown much larger than the words. The designers initials, LL (Luc Luycx), appear next to the 0 in 10.
